We want to see what the British coastline means to you, so pack your camera when you visit the seaside this summer and then enter your best images in the Coast Photography Competition.
You could win cameras and £500 to spend on photographic kit supplied by Olympus. We will print the best pictures in the December/January 2013 issue of Coast and here on allaboutyou.com. The categories are:
1 Landscapes – from salt marshes to sea cliffs, the UK coastline is a nature photographer’s dream.
2 Portraits – artists at work, fishermen mending nets, daytrippers enjoying an ice cream… coastal people’s lives offer many subjects to catch on camera.
3 Holidays – our seas and shores are playgrounds for beach and water sports, while seaside resorts host festivals and events. Can you capture that holiday feeling?
4 Young photographer – if you or yours are under 18, enter any coastal-themed image taken at the British seaside.
